How We Can Help

When applying for Canadian immigration or citizenship, you may also need to provide proof of a medical exam completed by panel physician authorized by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). This examination is required by the CIC for those looking to come to Canada to ensure they meet the medical criteria to be admissible into Canada. Your final decision regarding your medical exam is completed by the CIC and not our inhouse panel physician.

  • Corrective lenses (eye glass or contact lenses), if you require them.
  • All medical reports and test results for previous of existing medical conditions.
  • A list of your current medications.
What to Expect During the Visit?

When you arrive Dr. Muotoh will fill out a medical history questionnaire with you, this is where you will discuss any existing or previous medical conditions as well as any medication you are currently taking.

Once the questionnaire is completed, Dr. Muotoh will complete a physical examination which includes, but is not limited to:

You may also be required to complete a blood test, urine test and chest x-rays. If this is the case, you are responsible for completing these tests in a timely manner. If your tests are not completed in a timely fashion, they can lead to delays in your application.

After the Exam is Completed

Once the examination is completed, you will be provided with a document confirming that you completed the medical exam. We will submit your results on your behalf.

The final decision on your medical eligibility is made by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) based on the information collected by Dr. Muotoh and not based on his recommendations.

Your medical exam results are valid for 12 months.
